NetMeeting

Not 2 familiar with Messenger in XP, since I've only used
NetMeeting in Win2000.
I've noticed there are NetMeeting files in XP but no
shortcut.
So I created a shortcut pointing to Program
Files\NetMeeting\conf.exe.
When I try to invoke it, UI'm prompted to input all
Audio/Visual settings and then when I finish it doesn't
bring up the NetMeeting window ..... all it does is flash
it on the screen and then it disappears.
When I double-click the icon again it does exactly the
same thing.
Is there a service or other setting that I need to config
elsewhere that will allow me to successfully invoke
NetMeeting ?

Thanks

Try to do this, go to Start--Run-- and then type in conf.exe and push the
enter key and install by following the instructions. I think you will find
that this will work.
