netman internet problem

Josh

over and over again my computer keeps locking up, before i
put in my 10/100 linksys lan card i was using my onboard
asus gigabyte lan... and there were problems with that,
the internet would disconnect every 4 seconds... i would
disable the connection and enable and i would be connected
for no more than 4 seconds

so i switched and put in the linksys 10/100 and what to my
surprise the problem of staying connected no longer existed
but a new problem where the computer consistantly locks up
when im browsing the internet

ill share some of my events

Josh,

I was getting the Netman error but not the locking with a brand ne
computer.

I now think I have found a rough and ready solution which slows dow
the system enough to kill the dcom netman error.

I have put in a password for starting up with General User. (Not fo
security, just to slow things down).

So far I have rebooted twice and there have been no errors.
I got the idea by following the thread at:

http://www.ntcompatible.com/thread22386-1.html

I don't have a Draytek Vigor 2200USB ADSL Router nor do I have Norto
Antivirus but the same rough solution worked.

Hope this helps.
