Hi

I have XP, SP2, Celeron 1.2 GHZ, 504MB RAM, 20GB HDD, Advent laptop.

When I remove the Netgear WPN511 Wireless PC Card after a Internet session,
my system suddenly freezes (often, not always) to blue screen with stop
message and restarts immediately.

I have downloaded the latest driver from Netgear web site. Still, the
problem persists.

Please help.

Regards

You can/should try to update the Advent laptop motherboard chipset
drivers. These drivers can help with letting XP correctly access the
motherboard devices, which the USB adapter should be one.
