Netdiag.exe

Hi all -

I am trying to use the utility netdiag.exe in XP. I got it from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...62-27c0-4523-8af9-66a968a8c942&DisplayLang=en.
I receive the following error when trying to run it:

The procedure entry point DnsGetMaxNumberOfAddressesToRegister could not be
locaed in the dynamic link library DNSAPI.DLL.

Does anyone know if there is an XP version or XP compatible version of this
tool?

Built into XP pro. Just type netdiag.

You need to install the support tools from the CD first.

Thanks for the insightful response. However if you've worked with MS for
any period of time, you will know that they don't always update their docs
when newer OSes come out. Just cuz it only lists Win2000 doesn't
necessarily mean it works on only Win2K.
