Hi,

I have a VS 1.0, and I would like to obtain 1.1. I have downloaded files
from Microsoft that said it was the SDK, (108 MB), and I ran setup, but when
I launch .NET it says that I'm still running 1.0 in the about box. How can
I upgrade to version 1.1 in my development environment?? I can now run
..exe's created in 1.1 because I installed 1.1 framework - but I NEED to
develop in 1.1 as well.

Thanks,

Steve

You can only develop in 1.1 if you have VS.NET 2003. VS.NET 2002 uses the
1.0 Framework even if you have the 1.1 installed.

Ok - so is that a free upgrade or is MS going to rake me over te coals once
again?

Steve

VS.NET 2003 *was* offered for a limited time as a $29.00 upgrade to previous
VS.NET 2002 users. That period of time is long over, you'll need to
purchase VS.NET 2003 to develop for the 1.1 Framework.
