Net Send not Working

I have recently moved to a new company and have discovered that when I send
any Net Send Messages I either get an immediate error on pressing enter or
the users go not receive them.

Its a handy tool to have when I need people off the network etc who do not
necessarily have an e-mail account, or for those who choose not to read
e-mails!

I can't find a reason why, could there be something dodgey in the AD?
