Net Logon

I have a Win 2K Pro machine whose Net Logon service will
not start. I get an event id 5737 in the Event Viewer for
Net Logon, and an event id 7204 for the Service control
manager. I've looked through the tech database but not
found anything for either of these on Win 2K Pro. Any
ideas?
 
Make sure that client for Microsoft Networks is installed and enabled and that the
workstation service is started. Run netdiag on it looking for any failed tests that
may help pinpoint the problem. If non of that helps you may want to run sfc /scannow
