Hello,

I'm using a dos disk using the net commands to log on to an XP machine.
After i finish what i'm doing on the machine i run the net logoff command. If
i look at the sessions on the XP machine it still thinks its connected and
will not close the session until the 15 minutes is up. Does anyone know a way
to have it immediately know the session has ended and relese the connection
for another machine?

Thanks

Rick,

If you look at Computer Management (Control Panel - Administrative Tools), under
System Tools - Shared Folders - Sessions, you should see that session listed.
Try right click with that session selected, and you should be able to Close
Session.

Paranoia comes from experience - and is not necessarily a bad thing.

Thanks Chuck, but I was looking for a way without me having to go to the
computer to do this every time....
