.net in machintosh

hi y'all!

is it possible to run vb.net applications on machintosh
computers? if so, what are the requirements?
if not, how can i get it to work there?

it will be possible if anyone ever decides to create the Framework for
Macintosh. I beleive there is some work going on for a Unix/Linux
Framework.
Until someone (probably Macintosh) creates the Framework CLR for Macintosh
you will NOT be able to run a .NET application on Macs.

Check out the Mono project:

It's developing an open-source version of the CLR for Unix/Linux.
Unfortunately, the initial release will not support all of the .Net
Framework components, such as the Windows.Forms library. This means you
won't be able to use it (initially, at least) for running traditional GUI
applications.
