.NET Framework problem

I upgraded from XP Home to XP Pro and now NF 2.0 and 3.0 service Pack 1 will
not install and my Quickbooks Pro 2008 will not open. I did uninstall IE 7
before upgrading. All of the other Security updates installed without a
problem. What do I do to solve this problem?
