.NET Framework Archetict & Standard

Hi,

I have installed on my computer Visual Studio .NET Archetict 2002. I have
VB.NET Solutions programmed in the Visual Studio .NET Standard 2003 edition,
that wont open in my computer because they're newer!

Is there a way to open and debug Solutions programmed in VS.NET 2003 using
VS.NET 2002?
Can I save the VS.NET 2003 Solutions in VS.NET 2002 format?
If I install VS.NET Standard 2003 on my computer, will it remove all the
extra features I have in VS.NET Archetict?

Applications that have been developed with 2003 do not have backward
compatibility with 2002, unfortunately. The great thing about VS .Net 2003 is
that it can be installed on the same computer with VS .Net 2002 because of
its new features. For that matter, any application that has multiple versions
can run and execute at the same time as other versions if it has been
developed with VS .Net 2003! This prevents what was known as Dll Hell! (Sorry
to use that term, but that is what they called it.) In conclusion the answer
to your first question is no. The answer to your second question is yes! :) I
hope this answers your question and have a great day! :)
