.net cannot contact localhost..HELP!

I have used my enterprise edition for 2 weeks now and now
all of a sudden it hangs when I try to contact the local
host ot open my web projects. I use dotnet at work all
the time with no problems. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
 
Any error messages back from IE? Changes to the environment? e.g. proxy
settings, network cards.

I assume also you checked the web server is running.

A quick search in microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.aspnet shows a lot of
posts on IIS hanging.
