There is a NET framework 3.0 already as you mean that?
I don't believe that there will beside that come a SP for older versions.
(While 2.0 has a SP1, which solved a lot of problems)

Hello Alejandro,

Just to Add to Cor's post, the next version of .NET will be .NET 3.5 and
should be shipped in the end of 2007 with the VS "Orcas"
