Need tutorial good for image based presentaions

I need to learn how to use PowerPoint 2000. The bulk of my
presentations will involve images. So, I am looking for a book that
is strong on image-related topics.

Advise please.

And if you are going to be dealing with a lot of bitmaps/pictures/scans then a good image editor (pixel basher)
Photoshop...steep learning curve but brilliant - expensive
PaintShop Pro...easier to get to grips with - inexpensive
GIMP.....pretty easy....cheap - free!
