Need to save workbook with external links as a static workbook

ok, i've got a delima. i have a workbook that links to several external
sources. what i'd like to be able to do is when i save the workbook,
no changes to the data can be made, regardless of the updates to the
external source. make sense? please advise.

you may copy your data and insert it again as values.
you could also record a macro for this and place it in the Beforesave
event of your workbook
