need to make a slide show

I'm trying to make a slide show that goes across the page - several jpgs
fading together and the slide goes across the page slowly - do I need to
make this as an animation in corelpp - or flash macromedia? I'm not sure how
to do it in flash - just learning - and it seems like it would be very time
consuming in pp - can anyone help point me in the right direction? I know
fp2003 has a album component, but it doesn't look like what I'm trying to
do..

Best to use flash, as the swf format is widely supported by browsers.

take a look at some of the image effects and transitions here:

they've got a free version you might want to try. expect slow page loads on
that site. it was in a recent newsletter and I think they're getting more
hits than the server likes. ;-)
