I have an employee that is leaving in a couple of days, she has a
calendar that several people in the company depend on for
appointments. i assume it is her calendar, and she's made it public
and lets everyone view it. My question is...How can i keep her
calendar in tact after she quits? because i will have to delete her
active directory account. i need a public calendar that everyone can
use but isnt attached to someone's user account. im really dumb with
outlook, so detailed instructions would be very helpful, thank you in
advance.

If you're using Exchange (which it sounds like you may be) then you can copy
the calendar to the Public Folder store, then rename it to something other
than just Calendar. Users will likely need to re-map to it however since
they're not connecting to the shared calendar in the user's mailbox any
longer.

but other then moving the calendar and telling everyone to remap the
location, is that all?
