need to insert file with macro

I need to create a macro that will first give the user the opportunit
to browse for a file specific to the current month. From there th
macro will take the information from that file and insert it in to a
existing worksheet. Any ideas how to do this? or at least how to ge
started
 
thanks so much for your help...sorry for sounding stupid but how do
paste the formula in to visual basic and save it
