Need to get calendar out of French

I added French to my languages temporarily in order to write a word document
in French. When I switched back to English the calendar in Outlook remained
in French and also the computer time is now in 24 hour style. I have gone
back and removed the French option from Office and also from Outlook but the
calendar refuses to turn back to English. Everything else is in English. Can
someone help please?
