need to edit an e-mail address on the list that auto pops up

If I have sent an e-mail to an incorrect address and then later send it to
the right address ~ then the next time I want to send an e-mail my auto list
now shows both addresses. How do I edit this list so that I can remove the
incorrect address?

Hi AJ,
please use the up and down cursor and mark the wrong address and press DEL!
