need to delete e-mail account.

trying to delete an existing e-mail account. i go to tools, e-mail accounts
and try to delete it. i get msg "access denied". next time I boot up it is
there again, thoughts?

Version of Outlook? Type of account?

If this is the only account, one simple way to start afresh is to create a
new mail profile. Otherwise, ass in the correct account (spelling "smtp"
correctly) and you should be able to remove the bad account.
