Need the Median of a Field

Is there a function in Access I can use to find the Median of a field?

All I can find in the help menu are things like avg, min, max. Not finding
anything about the median
 
There's no Median function built into Access, but it's relatively simple to
build your own.

I showed one approach in my October, 2005 "Access Answers" column in
Pinnacle Publication's "Smart Access". You can download the column (and
