Well this really isnt a problem but need some input.
Currently at work we have T1 internet. There is a
company that is also in the building that we have been
shareing internet with. Ok here is the the problem I need
help with. The company that we are shareing internet with
just got a windows 2000 server. Is there a way to have
them log into their own server instead of ours and still
be able to get internet acces from our Servers? I am not
sure if our current server is using a proxy since I didnt
set it up. I am not the admin of our other servers either
I am just helping the customers in back. The company that
owns the internet we are shareing currently doesnt have
anyone that is knowledable in the server field. Thanks in
advance.

the server does not have to be in the same domain to get
internet, but it needs to get the internet somehow...what
u can do is, find out if the computers are going out on
the internet through a NAT server, then let the server get
an IP from a dhcp if there is one that assigns IP, gateway
and dns info, if not u can try to assign an IP and DNS
manually, and give it the NAT's address as the gateway.
There's quite a few things u can try like that one, but
since I don't know how your network is set up, that's the
first thing i thought about....
