Need RAM!

I read many wonderful testomonials about newegg, but my experience with
them is a nightmare.

I bought some ram and it didn't work. I pursued a replacement through
there RMA system. The customer service is was the worst. I waited
patiently then followed up by email. Never even got a response so I
called them. They had no clue about the status and asked me if I wanted
them to look into it? DUH you think, I waited a month and nothing and
you're curious if I want it looked into? Anyway I demanded a refund and
said if they charged the 15% bs restock fee I would never purchase from
them again. I received an email stating my full refund was on the way
and to allow 2-3 days. Guess what? A couple weeks later "NOTHING". I
called and they changed there tune to "Never received Return" and
"Never sent refund email". They asked for a copy so I sent it them and
despite a promise from to two CS agents that they would get back to me,
so far NOTHING! I would be carefull doing business with newegg.com as
you may send off your money and get NOTHING like I did!

I hope you charged it on a credit card and its less than 60 days since
you got the CC statement with that charge on it.

If so, dispute it with the CC company. This MUST be in writing and sent
by certified mail return recipt requested. Supply all details. They
may deny it the first time, request a reconsideration and you will
probably get it.

That's too bad. The truth is, no matter how excellent a company is,
occasionally someone will get screwed, it just happens. Unfortunately it
was your turn. Don't give up on them, I'm sure if you reach the right
person they will figure it out and make things right.
