Need of Greek Font---Won't "switch over"--Stays on western

I'm really in need of some help! I had read that on certain Microsoft fonts
you can get the Greek letter equivalent once you select "Greek" from
"Western". On the screen where you change your font, you can view the Greek
lettering in the particular font style. However, once you "okay" it and it
goes back to your original screen it stays in the Western style. I believe I
am doing all the right steps because I see what I want on the font screen but
when it goes to apply what I want it stays the same (Western) yet will have
the Greek style in the upper box.
 
If in the browser, rightclick any page, and "Encoding" to set the option for a language.
