Hello,

I am having a problem where when I try to run a program in Scheduled Tasks,
it starts then stops immediately. The log shows "The task completed with an
exit code of (80)". This problem seems to be identified in
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;812400
It states here that I need three updated files.

Mstask.dll, Mstinit.exe, Schedsvc.dll - all in version 5.1.2600.1156

Does anybody have these files that they could e-mail them to me? Thanks if
you can help.

Todd,

If you think you are subject to 812400 then follow the instructions in the
knowledge base article under the Resolution section where is clearly tells
you how to get the fix.
You should NEVER trust anyone to mail you files. (nor should you ask)

Suzanne - Sorry, I didn't notice the 'Word', 'just application errors'

Mike - I have just had such poor luck with wait times on calls that I
thought I would give this a try.

Any way - I tried the patch and it didn't work. Guess I'll have to try and
find a third party scheduler.
