Still need help welcome screen password box went away
until you click username this happened imediately after
establishing cable connection to realtek ethernet adapter.
Also had stand-by grayed out until game software installed
Direct X 9. and that turned on stand-by even though power
configurations were "always on" for both the one user, and
the administrator in safe mode. I have both registries
before and after the welcome screen problem but don't have
a clue where to look for welcome screen in registry or
shut down screen for stand-by button (although I don't
have pre event copy of registry at the time before Direct
X 9. went in) This is XP Home one user-administrator and
the administrator that is in Safe mode. Below is earlier
post no response and second install of win doctor couldn't
put paths together so I'm on install 11 of the week and at
wits end Help.

Need help trying to merge 2 registries have both backed
up
with erunt would like to compare the two. One made early
on has welcome screen with box already open for password
and stand-by grayed out on shut down box want to keep both
of these options. Somewhere much later in updates stand-by
button came to life and when I updated realtek ethernet
adapter lost box for password on welcome screen. I know
these do not seem like serious issues but I have installed
windows about 10 times since friday trying to make it all
work. Where in registry is the welcome screen and and
shutdown box (stand-by turn off restart)? Presently have
all 37 cds installed and the early backup registry from
erunt and programs installed do not all work or appear on
add and remove programs but as I said welcome screen and
shutdown just like I want. Have thought of adding another
install of SystemWorks to see if it could link it all back
together. Any ideas? Thanks for your Help

In Australia it has a sun, a few stars, and the odd planet. I'm surprised to hear it's different for you upside down people.

Depends what's occupying the space in question. For example the space
within a barrell full of rotten apples would probably be brownish and
smelly.
