Need MS Activation Phone Number

Pete

Strangely, I need to reinstall an Installation from the beginning on a Dell
machine (which had windows XP SP2). It freezes at the password screen with
no telephone number. Just tells me I can no go forward without activation.
Please, can anyone tell me the number to get activated?
This is wierd.

Thank you. I have bookmarked it.
BTW, I am moving my HOME possibly someday our work computer to ubuntu linux
(we have a small office). It has a graphical interface now. It is really
cool. It installed my extra usb HD, Internet, printer, all instantly.
My God, it's amazing.
MS just went too far with their pricing and activation, IMHO. So now I get
to work on both.

That's really strange...I've never had to activate (or re-activate) my
Dell-issued XP OS.
I did have to activate my Express upgrade to Vista, however.
