Yes, this is where I say prevention is better than cure, I notice based on
my experiences with Microsoft AntiSpyware that it allows the installation of
certain spyware such as 180 search for example, then removes.

So, there needs to be some improvements to Real time protection. Don't get
me wrong, it has prevented installations of well known spyware such as Cool
Web Search, but as usual, it could be better. We might see this either in
thr Refresh Update or Beta 2. Hopefully in the Refresh Update.

In the mean time, send a suspect spyware report from the Tools menu, and do
full system scans in safe mode.
