Need more idle time

I need to know how to increase my idle time before my system shuts itself down. If I am online, but leave my computer idling for more than twenty minuets, it disconnects. I've checked the system as best as I can (I am barely computer literate) and I noticed that the idle time is set for 20minuets. I want to change that to "never shut down."

Control Panel|DISPLAY|SCREENSAVER|POWER button
Choose NEVER from the each power settings list, then click on OK

Are you talking about your Internet "disconnect if idle" setting, or your
overall computer idle shutdown time? Your comment leans in both directions,
but it's not really clear exactly what you are asking.

Internet "disconnect if idle" time is under the advanced settings of of your
connection on the connection tab of Internet Options. You should have the
option to uncheck the box or run the minutes up to 59.
