need login times of a user

Bummer. You need to audit logins, including successful logins, and
not overwrite the file until you've gotten the info from it you need.

If this is a domain, you could use usrstat to find the last logon time, but that is
about the best you are going to be able to do with the security logs gone. --- Steve
