Need info about XP Home

I'm looking to set up a database on XP Home edition and would like to use
Apache with MySQL and PHP.
I realize XP Home edition isn't built to be a web-server but I'd like to be
able to test PHP pages locally using http://localhost

Is this feasible?

Does Sokkit work with XP Home Edition so that one can view database driven
PHP pages locally?
