Need info about pathnames in Windows 2003

Do not know much about programming in Visual Basic. Have had success in
setting up pathnames in an older window Word program activated by a button.
Company updated to Windows 2003 and now my macros will not follow the
pathname ... Any thoughts? Is there a new method to call the pathname?

Not a f*cking idea. Some unknown version of word (and if it's using visual basic for application it can only be a max of 8 years old) running unknown code doern't work. Tough luck.

Sorry about the bad request. I'm really not a PC person so I do not know
much about Word versions. The company I work for always has the latest
version of Word. What I am experiencing is that I wrote all my macros in
the last version before Word 2003. Last October our software was updated to
Word 2003 and the macros began to give me some problems. Currently I use
Netscape to access word files on a sever in another state. Netscape was 4.2
and now is updated to 7.2 in November.

My goal is to migrate to Explorer ... When I click on the url in Explorer I
am opening a word file. Once there I click on a button in the word file and
that has a macro in it but it will not use the pathname. My thought is that
the code syntax may have changed in word 2003 to open a word file. I'm
looking for an example of what it takes to open Word 2003 files with the
correct syntax.

Give examples. It hasn't changed. It is probably a bug by you that worked before. Else security changes have blocked it. Got to see the code.

I can't because I'm on a MAC. Can you send an e-mail to me so I can respond
to you from work tomorrow where I use a PC. My e-mail at work is
(e-mail address removed) my e-mail her at the house is (e-mail address removed). My
security setting is medium ...
Thanks,
Jim
