Need help

I can remember blocking Macromedia, but I dont remember where, and I need it.
Can someone give me some direction as what may be blocking it?

If the Shockwave flash Active X component is registered
correctly, it may have the Compatibility Flag set to inhibit
it's use. A Dword value of 400 will restore it and a value
of 0 turns it off.
On my system I turn off Shockwave and the Registry key
you are looking for is

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\
ActiveX Compatibility\
{D27CDB6E-AE6D-11CF-96B8-444553540000}]
"Compatibility Flags"=dword:00000400

Go to macromedia.com and download it again. Macromedia is
a software company. I believe what you are talking about
is Macromedia FLASH. but this is pure speculation a you
are not clear.

Macomedia is a company, one of their products is Flash. You
turn "play animations off" in IE Tools/Internet
Options/advanced.

Unfortunately, this seems to have no effect upon Flash animations.
