Need Help

Hi,

Let me take you through my problem.

I have a photo which needed red eye taken out. I used a
Kodak Photo program. That red eye button in that program
put a few smudge marks on my photo. Obviously, I did not
see it at the time and I pressed save. Subsequently, I
tried to take out the smudge marks to the photo in Adobe
Photoshop 6.0. During a change session I pressed save
changes. Now the photo has inappropriate color on it.

There you have what I did. I tried system restore for
Windows XP but it did not work on folders and files. Is
there anyone who knows how I can "system restore" the
original photo? Is this even possible.

When doing photo editing, it is ALWAYS a good idea to make a
copy of the original so you can go back to square one if
needed. Then do your work on the copy.

How did you get the picture? Was it scanned from a print or
negative? Was it a digital photo? If you can't replace the
damaged file, look for some help on how to repair photos
with PhotoShop, depending on your skill and the quality of
your input device, you should be able to fix the picture.
