NEED HELP !!!

I have been trying for several hours using the New Connection Wizzard to set
up a connection for my cable connection. I complete the wizzard, but nothing
shows in the window as being created yet it tells me it has. I am at a loss

Please describe:
1) Your network, including identifying all network hardware (computers, modems,
routers), and Operating System on each computer.

2) What selections did you make in the NSW?

3) Provide "ipconfig /all" from each computer, so we can diagnose the problem.
