Hey guys............I am modifying an AC for a friend.............I need to know of something that has similar properties to freon but is colder........nothing ridiculous like liquid nitrogen..........we tried that.......

Anyways help is apprecited

do you want a gas to replace the one inside the AC ? i cant think of the name but theres one that alot of oveclockers use to modify their vapochill coolers

Vapochill units use R507 gas compressed for the refrigerant....But there is R404 and R57 other than that Dunno.....:)

thats what i was thinking of, liquid CO2 may work

I think that liquid CO2 has to be kept under very high pressure to remain liquid which may not be so good for a AC.
If you don't mind me asking, what exactly are you trying to do with this AC mod.
