Need help with Window Movie Maker

I need to save a movie i made to my computer but everytime i try to save it ,
in the last five minutes it says an error has occured and windows needs to
shut down.. I need this slide show by tomorrow on a dvd disk because its my
cousins funeral and we need it asap.. can someone please help me and tell why
it continues to do this

Movie Maker has its own newsgroup. They will want to know the version
and more precise details of the error message etc.
