Need help with win 2k server

I have a plain vanilla server, no Active Directory, just
file sharing. We had a power failure during the long
weekend, and now when I try to connect with an application
using the UNC i get the error message " The Server is not
configured for Transactions", yet I can map a drive to it
for my Quick Books application. Please Help.
