Aloha all. I just switched to Word 2007 on my XP machine. It seems to work
fine, but I'm having a dickens of a time doing what used to be basic things.
Is there a place I can get quick help with something like a simple return
address macro? It keeps treating each line in the return address like a new
paragraph and double spacing it when I hit the macro button, even though I
have designated single space, and Don't Add Spaces Between Paragraphs in the
macro. I have to open the paragraph ribbon, and hit that Don't Add Spaces
before running the macro, which is a complete waste of time.
Make sense to anyone. Any ideas, or a place to find them?
Many thanks!

Try
microsoft.public.word.docmanagement
That seems to be a good general ng for Word.
Mike.

I left messages on several of the Word groups, but received no reply. Not
very helpful. Any other suggestions on how to resolve this problem...other
than switch back to Office 03?
Thanks.

Keep trying. The fact that you got no reply doesn't make this the
proper newsgroup to ask your question.

I only have a very old Word (2000) so can't really help much, but I
wonder if perhaps the macro is picking up the paragraph settings from
the document you're using it in? Perhaps a workaround might be to use
soft returns in the macro (shift+enter) at the end of each line of the
address? That should make Word see the whole thing as a single
paragraph.

Did you look into it yourself?
