Need help with my LAN

I'm running 4 computers on a LAN plus a cable modem. Three systems are
running Windows XP Pro and the forth is running Windows 2000 Professional.

All computers can access the internet
All computers can ping one another
All computers are on the MSHOME workgroup
All computers have share on

Yesterday I suddenly discovered that I can no longer access the Windows 2000
computer's files or folders from any of the other 3 computers. The message
I'm getting is that the network path not found or that I might not have
permissions.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Jim,

You have a name resolution problem. I'd start by looking at the NetBT setting,
and all personal firewalls and other security components.

Then look at logs from "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all", from each
computer, and diagnose the problem. Read this article, and linked articles, and
follow instructions precisely (download browstat!):
