Need help with Limited Account in Home version

Here's my problem. It appears the only way for my kids to play games on XP Home is to under an administrative account. I don't want them to have full administrative priviledges! Microsoft even has a publication in the knowledge base saying not to go online with Administrative priviledges. There are several options:
1. How can Limited account permissions be changed so they can play their games.
2. Microsoft release a patch that will give, what seems to be only available to the Pro version (Power User), to the Home version. (figure the odds)
3. Create a profile from scratch that will mimick Power User running under the Home version.

Has anyone done either 1 or 2 above yet and if so how?

As far as I'm concerned, Microsoft really blew it on this one. They should have just given the Home version the Power User account or created one just for kids (and adults) to play games on!

Unfortunately, that is one of the differentiating features of XP
Professional vs. XP home. There is no patch to add new accounts types to XP
Home.

Fortunately, there's a command line utility which can mimic the accounts.
XP Home still ships with cacls.exe which can be used to modify the Access
Control List (permissions) for files. There was a good write up on
cacls.exe in Brian Knittel's "Windows XP Under The Hood: Hardcore Windows
Scripting and Command Line Power."
