Hello,

Ok I got a new system from googlegear.com everything came
but the CPU was open when I got to it and some of the pins
were bent but, I have encountered this problem before and
just straighten the pins and the CPU worked. Well I did
that put all the componets together and the computer turn
on just fine. Got to the BIOS set the date ETC.. no
problem just like all the other times I put a computer
together. Well this time when the XP was booting from the
CDRW it went into a blue screen and started loading a lot
of drivers well when it finished that and it says starting
windows setup it crash and gave me an error message that
said "IRQ_L NOT_less_than" or something like it. Sorry but
I dont remember the whole error and since I cant get my
comp. to work I'm here at the Library.

Here is what I have:
MSI NFORCE2 mobo the delta L
MSI FX 5200 128MB
512MB PC 2700 Corsair RAM
AMD 2400+ Athlon
WD 80GB special edition
sony floppy
Asus CDRW 52x24x52
mobo has built in LAN, sound, USB 1.1 & 2.0, agp 8x

Also I think I just noticed that the floppy those not work.

And I was messing with the BIOS and I clocked the CPU to
166MHz and now the video does not come on. The light on
the monitor just blicks.

Also I am just using the AGP slot on the Mobo.

Hi, Steinhart.

Maybe you are in the wrong newsgroup.

You don't really have Windows problems; you have hardware problems. When
you get those ironed out, you probably won't troubles with Windows XP. If
you do, please come back and let us help you with those.

For my EPoX motherboard, I got a lot of help from the Usenet newsgroup
alt.comp.periphs.mainboard.epox. I've never been to
alt.comp.periphs.mainboard.msi-microstar, but you would probably find a lot
of company there. Some of them know about overclocking, too.
