need help with full size images in a thumbnail gallery

i made a thumbnail gallery with frontpage.......i click the images and they
get bigger......excellent.....but when i close the full size image i close
the browser.how do i open a thumbnail in a new window or open a thumbnail
with the option of closing it and not the browser??? old lady need help!! my

You have to use the Back button to return to your normal web if you do it with the autothumbnail...because those big images are on pages that are kinda generated on the fly.

If you use the thumbnails already generated and then create a separate page for the big image and link the thumbs to the new pages, not only could you open them in a new window, you could also make them pretty if you wanted to.
