Need help with dual boot!

This is my story:
I bought a pre-assembled HP computer about two years ago that came with XP
Home OEM preinstalled. six months ago, I decided to upgrade it, and I
upgraded everything but for my two hard drives (C:\ had my OEM XP HOME and
D:\ was empty). After upgrading my computer, I got a new copy of XP Pro and
installed that onto my D:\ drive, leaving my C:\ drive the way it was. Then,
yesterday, I got a copy of Windows Vista Ultimate (the full, not upgrade). I
installed the 32bit version on my C:\ drive after fomating it, and once
installed my computer did not ask me if I wanted to boot XP Pro from my D:\
drive or Vista Ultimate from my C:\. It just booted Ultimate. After messing
around for a bit, I discovered that I must have wiped my boot.ini when I
cleared my C:\ drive of XP Home OEM (which no longer worked). Since then I
have secsfully used the XP Disk to repair that boot.ini (using the command
"boot /rebuild") This action worked, but when I restarted my computer,
selected XP, and hit enter, my computer restarted instead of booting. I am
still able to use Vista, and my D:\ drive is still intact, but I am out of
ideas. I have downloaded easybcd, and it did nothing for me. It will show up
on the list, but then it tells me that it cannot find \ntldr.
Here is that listing in Debug mode:
Windows Boot Manager

ANY help would be GREATLY appertiated.
I am willing to reinstall Vista, but I would like to keep my XP (for it has
my documents and pics and vidoes which Vista has, so nicely, denied me access
to even when I overwrote the permissions.
My computer:
P4 3.2 with HT OCed to 3.54
2 hdds:
300gb-C:\
200gb-D:\
7600GT OC (BFG)
Dual Display
All windows updates installed.
THANKS

Should be unnecessary, but put copies of ntldr, ntdetect.com and the
boot.ini on both drives. Make the proper entries in the boot.ini for each

Anyway, its working really well now!
Thanks for the response,

You're welcome. Since your legacy entry points to the D partition, that is
where the legacy boot files need to reside.
