Hi,
I need some help figuring out how to take a list of numbers and make
the ones outside of a specified range (109.69 and 109.73) turn red. I
need the text or the whole cell turn red if it is outside 109.69 and
109.73. Thanks for you help!

Select the column, then use conditional formating, under format.

Change the dorp down to "formula is" then >X change format to what you
desire

Click add. Do the same for <x.

The file I am trying to apply this "conditional formatting" to is a
shared file. I believe because it is shared, it will not let me apply
the formatting. When I click "Format" the "conditional formatting"
word is not able to clicked. I do know that i am the only one with the
file open at the time. So if you have an ideas as to what I can do to
edit this file, that'd be great.
Thanks again

goto

Tools-->Share Wookbook-->unclick the "Allow changes..."
This will cause the workbook to be saved, and then you can make your
changes. You could then shares the workbook again after you're done,
if you so choose.
