Need Help with carrying totals forward PLEASE!!!

upon creating my first spreadsheet, for inventory purposes..........is there
a way to carry totals from one spreadsheet forward to a new spreadsheet
using the same excel Spreadsheet template?

For example:

Inventory
Start total End Total Used
5 3 2
3 1 2


Total used: 4

Then on the next sheet I would like the end Totals to carry over to the
template spreadsheet
with the end Totals becoming the new sheets Start totals!

I hope this isnt too confusing, but I just want to be able to carry over
totals from one spreadsheet (using a template) to another!

Have the start total cell refernce the end total in the previous sheet.
In cell for start total #1, enter +(then click on cell with ending total for
prior month), then hit enter
