This project is based on the Northwind Traders database created by Microsoft
for tutorial purposes. My assignment is:
5. The Board is interested in knowing what products by their name and net
sales $’s amounts ($440,623.87) are the leading (top 10) sellers for 1998.
Please identify by using “whatever†database tools and label accordingly.

6. To evaluate whether “discriminatory†pricing has taken place. You are to :
Prepare a query that shows by PRODUCT, clients (whose gross sales are
greater than $1,000 for the past three years). Display the product, client’s
name, the rate of the discount, and their total gross sales. There is a
national food convention to take place in Duncan,SC, and the customers may
ask each other what pricing policies is in place for the same product.

7. A board member suspects that in 1998, in terms of net sales, that bottom
50 orders ID by their aggregate value should not have even been processed?
Agree or disagree and show answer.

Any help, advice, tips, etc on how to perform any of these tasks/answer any
of these questions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

I understand what the database wants, but where are you in this process.
Have the Tables been completed?
Have the Forms been completed?
Have you made a Query of any type yet?
Have you made any Reports yet?
Where are you in this project?
The requests by this project are Query related & Criteria Related. Access
Main page provides related information to this "Study" project; you can also
recieve information in the Access Help Files on the related topics listed
above.

For #5, I was able to do a query for sales by item and sales by year. I
could not get sales by item for just 1998. There would either be errors or
the values would be way off. For #6, I wasn't even sure where to begin. For
#7, I could not get a query to show sales rank by order for just 1998.
