I am just wondering of how to do the simple task of showing the lines on the
chart (the lines that are there but don't print)...I've done it before, but
can't find it now! Thanks

If you mean the x-axis lines then Right-click on the chart and select Chart
Options > Gridlines

What type of chart? XY? Do you have the sub-type which includes the lines,
or the sub-type which shows only the data points? Do the lines show up in
Print Preview?

If by "chart" you mean the worksheet go to File>Page Setup>Sheet and checkmark
"Gridlines".

If you mean a graphical chart, see other responses.
