Need Help - Trouble Removing RSS Feeds

Hi, in Outlook 2007, I used to read RSS feeds and deleted all of them a while
ago. However, in Unread Mail folder, there are still 1263 unread feeds. When
I double-clicked on one of the feeds to open it, a popup box says: "Cannot
open this item. The message you specified cannot be found." When I try to
delete the item, nothing happens and the item remains intact.

Can anyone advise on how to remove these useless items? Thanks....

Did you remove the corresponding RSS folders containing the items as well?

Yes I did, I deleted all RSS folders and everything else..not sure why the
Unread Folder still has these RSS feeds...

Cleared your Deleted Items as well?
If you recreate the Unread Mail folder does it again list the items?

Thanks...Once I deleted the unread folder and the problem is gone...and I
recreated a new one...
